- Gauge customer satisfaction and address any concerns with tact and diplomacy.
- Adhere to financial protocols regarding payment processing, cash drawer management, and bank handling.
- Conduct end-of-shift cash drawer reconciliation and manage bank retrieval.
- Perform general cleaning duties using approved cleaning supplies as directed by management to meet health regulations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic math skills essential for cash register operations, change-making, and financial reporting.
- Ability to effectively manage conflict, particularly in relation to billing discrepancies.
- Proficient in reading and speaking English to comprehend menus and promotions, and to interact with customers.
- Competence in using a keyboard and Point of Sale systems for transaction processing.
- Capability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
- No previous experience necessary; however, experience in hospitality and cash handling is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn about all menu offerings.
- Ability to provide prompt and efficient service to customers.
- Willingness to learn and apply up-selling techniques.
- Commitment to adhering to all departmental standards and guidelines.
- Self-motivated during less busy periods.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
