We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner I to join our team at CommonSpirit Health in Woodland, California. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with various respiratory conditions.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrating competency in caring for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  2. Administer medications, perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, maintenance, and operation of mechanical ventilators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, aerosolized medication delivery for the treatment of pulmonary disease, and medical gas administration.
  3. Support nursing staff in patient care areas, accessing medications from the medication storage unit and nurse servers.

Requirements

  1. Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
  2. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required, ACLS, PALS.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  2. Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
  3. Three years of experience in direct and indirect respiratory care services, including the administration of pharmacological diagnostic and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician and surgeon.
