We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner I to join our team at CommonSpirit Health in Woodland, California. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with various respiratory conditions.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Our hospital is a 108-bed acute care facility offering a wide range of services, including inpatient and outpatient surgical services, family birth center/labor and delivery, emergency services, home health services, palliative care, inpatient mental health services, sleep disorders center, and cancer care services.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, maintenance, and operation of mechanical ventilators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, aerosolized medication delivery for the treatment of pulmonary disease, and medical gas administration.
- Access medications from the medication storage unit and nurse servers in the patient care areas.
Requirements
- Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required, ACLS, PALS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year degree.
- Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
- Five years of experience in direct and indirect respiratory care services, including the administration of pharmacological diagnostic and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician and surgeon.
