We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at Crimson Ventures. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the energy transition and making a sustainable impact.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business administration and at least three years of experience in the market for CO2 reduction rights / carbon offset. They will be responsible for identifying and developing exciting climate protection projects, establishing and expanding our network of suppliers, and managing our project portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Development: Identify and develop climate protection projects in Germany, Europe, and worldwide, ensuring they align with our company's goals and values.
  • Supplier Network: Establish and expand our network of suppliers for eco-gas and CO2 reduction rights, fostering strong relationships and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage our project portfolio for eco-gas and CO2 reduction rights, ensuring timely completion and optimal results.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Procure CO2 reduction rights and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
  • Market Analysis and Partnerships: Conduct market analysis to identify potential for development and establish strategic partnerships with trading partners, driving business growth and innovation.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Education: Completed degree in business administration (Bachelor or Master)
  • Experience: At least three years of professional experience in the market for CO2 reduction rights / carbon offset
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, digital affinity, and fluency in German and negotiable English skills
