Eating Disorder Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team. As a Primary Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy, serving as a liaison with families and outpatient providers. You will also interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, participate in discharge and aftercare planning, and provide therapeutic meal support while modeling a healthy relationship with food. This role requires a safe, empathetic, and affirming approach to care, addressing each client's unique circumstance based on their intersecting identities.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
• Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, ensuring timely and effective reimbursement for services
• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning, developing personalized strategies for continued growth and progress
• Provide therapeutic meal support, modeling a healthy relationship with food and promoting positive eating habits
• Foster a safe, empathetic, and affirming environment, addressing each client's unique needs and circumstances based on their intersecting identities
Qualifications
• Master's degree in clinical counseling or a related field
• Arizona state license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC), with ability to be licensed in other states as well
• Prior experience working with eating disorders and higher levels of care is preferred
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, with a commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment

Location
This remote position offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to work from anywhere while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. With anticipated schedule Monday-Friday with 1-2 evenings/week, this role provides a great balance of work and personal time.
Salary Range
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
