Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Aerial Lineman to contribute to our projects. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary experience to handle the responsibilities outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair significant cable systems and structures, including tasks such as replacing or re-sagging aerial strands and managing pole transfers.
- Interpret work orders and engineering drawings to execute tasks efficiently.
- Perform construction activities, including digging, climbing poles, and stringing wire or cable.
- Operate various power equipment, including hydraulic lifts and compressors.
- Utilize testing equipment to ensure safety and compliance during operations.
- Respond to emergency situations requiring heavy construction capabilities.
- Document daily production and complete necessary reports.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications line construction.
- Strong understanding of tools, materials, and procedures used in the industry.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb poles and ladders, and lift equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Perform tasks requiring coordination and physical stamina.
