Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team at APIC Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure in a low voltage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain Category 5e, 6, RG 6 Coax, and fiber optic cabling
  • Rack mount equipment and install access points, set-top boxes, coax splitters, and other network devices
  • Test and troubleshoot cable and network connections
  • Pull new cables (data, RF, power, and fiber) and properly route and support RF, data, and fiber cables
  • Install conduit runs through walls, floors/ceilings, and in trenches, and properly ground equipment, conduits, and support racks
  • Install and configure security systems, data cable networks, and equipment, and relocate security systems hardware and other accessories

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience installing low voltage special systems and/or data infrastructure for medium and large commercial projects
  • ES3J/ES7J License desired
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and vehicle liability insurance
  • Understanding of basic customer relationship management and good working knowledge of low voltage special systems and data infrastructure installation practices
