We are seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.
Job DescriptionThe primary objective of this position is to provide quality patient care. Responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient learning needs and readiness to learn, identifying actual or potential barriers to learning.
- Document admission assessment, plan, interventions, and medication use, monitoring its effects and outcomes according to policy.
- Utilize the information management system to enhance communication and document changes in patient condition to all appropriate individuals.
- Communicate transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during Interprofessional Rounds.
- Recognize and integrate patient special needs and individualize care, knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral.
- Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care and promote a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
- ASN required, BSN preferred.
- PA RN License.
- BLS - issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS - issued by the American Heart Association.
