We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. This is a part-time opportunity with a 12-hour day shift schedule.
Job Summary:The primary objective of this position is to provide high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients assigned to you. You will assess learning needs, readiness to learn, and identify actual or potential barriers to learning, and incorporate patient education into daily activities based on age, cultural, and spiritual values.
Responsibilities:- Assess and document patient admission and reassessment, plan, interventions, and medication use and monitor its effects and outcomes according to policy.
- Utilize the information management system to enhance communication and document changes in patient condition to all appropriate individuals.
- Communicate transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during Interprofessional Rounds.
- Recognize and integrate patient special needs and individualize care, knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral.
- Include pain management and supportive care issues in the plan of care.
- Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care and promote a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
