Key Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nurse Aide, your role will encompass:

  • Assisting elderly patients or those recuperating from medical procedures with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Administering prescribed medications and aiding with mobility.
  • Facilitating transportation for appointments and outdoor activities.
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals.
  • Supporting physical therapy routines.
  • Accompanying clients for shopping and errands.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Documenting any unusual occurrences and responding effectively in emergencies.
  • Engaging clients in essential daily activities, including meal assistance.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A passion for one-on-one care and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • The physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • A compassionate and supportive demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
  • A willingness to uphold health and safety standards.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
  • Experience with Hoyer Lifts (specific to client needs).
