Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at St. Camillus Residential Health.

About the Role:

This position provides direct resident care and support, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents. As a valued member of our nursing team, you will work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the maintenance of resident's nutritional needs and promote healthy eating habits.
  • Support the restoration of normal bowel and bladder function, and observe and report any significant changes in a resident's condition.
  • Understand and respect the psychological needs of our residents, and practice infection control principles to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Participate in professional growth and development, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional care and services.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to promote rehabilitation and support the overall well-being of our residents.
  • Ensure employee safety and report any concerns or incidents to your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • A High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification listed as current in the NYS Registry.
  • A clean certification status, without findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
