Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at St. Camillus Residential Health. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct resident care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the maintenance of resident's nutritional needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
  • Maintain or assist with restoration of normal bowel and bladder function, promoting a healthy and comfortable living environment.
  • Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Understand the psychological needs of the resident, providing emotional support and comfort.
  • Practice infection control principles, maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
  • Demonstrate interest in professional growth, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and training.
  • Practice principles of rehabilitation, promoting independence and mobility for our residents.
  • Responsible for employee injury prevention, following safety rules and addressing safety issues with supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • A High school diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.
  • CNA certification listed as current in the NYS Registry, ensuring you meet the necessary qualifications for the role.
  • CNA certification status must be without findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property certification, verifying your commitment to resident care and safety.
