Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records meticulously to confirm accurate diagnostic coding
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and administrative personnel to address documentation discrepancies
- Conduct compliance assessments to ensure alignment with industry standards
- Engage in strategic initiatives aimed at performance enhancement
- Facilitate training and educational sessions for staff
- Manage appeals for denied claims and lead monthly Revenue Integrity discussions
- Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration is essential
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in medical coding and record analysis
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is advantageous
- In-depth understanding of revenue cycle processes, medical terminology, and coding methodologies
- Exceptional time management and analytical capabilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication abilities
