We are seeking a Cardiac Care Nurse (Nights) to join our team at St. Joseph Medical Center. The successful candidate will play a critical role in attending to patients with heart conditions, cardiac issues, and associated illnesses, providing tailored care to enhance recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs, cardiac medications, and pain management medications.
- Perform assessments of patients' cardiac status, including physical assessments, review medical histories, and evaluate symptoms.
- Provide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices.
- React promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or respiratory distress.

Qualifications:

- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

We offer up to a $20,000 bonus, paid out as stipends every 90 days. We also offer 12hr options - self schedule, and nights shifts with a 17% to 22% differential in pay.
