Cardiac Care Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from open heart surgeries, heart catheterization, and other cardiovascular procedures.

About Our Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Our Cardiac Telemetry unit is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires a high level of critical thinking and teamwork. Our nurses take care of patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care to patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • 1-2 years of experience in a cardiac telemetry or critical care setting
