Position Overview:


The BDC Specialist for Automotive Service Operations at Napleton Auto Group National Dealership is a full-time, hourly administrative role within the automotive sector.

This position involves engaging with customers through the service department's business development center (BDC), managing inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and promoting the service offerings of our dealerships.

This role reports directly to the Corporate Fixed Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the BDC operations of the service department, managing phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
  • Provide accurate information regarding service offerings, pricing, and availability in response to customer inquiries.
  • Schedule service appointments while ensuring effective communication with customers to deliver a positive experience.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database, ensuring all information is accurate.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure efficient service operations.
  • Work with service technicians to guarantee proper documentation and communication with customers.
  • Conduct follow-up communications to gather feedback and address any customer concerns.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and developments to enhance customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or call center roles, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required.
