As a Back of the House - Grill Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Front of the House by efficiently preparing 'cold' menu items with precision, ensuring that every guest departs with satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Availability for full-time shifts
  • Adherence to food safety protocols
  • Preparation and cooking of all menu items in accordance with established guidelines
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the grill area at all times
  • Efficiently creating prepped 'hot' menu items that align with Chick-fil-A standards
  • Staying informed about new product offerings
  • Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Working safely around hot equipment and reporting maintenance concerns
  • Enhancing personal knowledge through in-house training on food service
  • Demonstrating familiarity with recipes and cooking requirements
  • Ensuring adequate stock of supplies
  • Cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the restaurant, including equipment, counters, floors, trash bins, and outdoor spaces
  • Other duties as assigned by restaurant management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required
  • Reliable transportation is necessary
  • Ability to handle kitchen equipment, including navigating shelving at various heights
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Ability to thrive in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment
  • Mobility is required throughout shifts
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently respond to changes or modifications in orders
