Physician Position: Integrative Medicine Specialist

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our Integrative Medicine Service as a full-time Academic Clinician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with a wide range of physical and psychological symptoms, using an integrative medicine approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinically evaluate and manage patients with physical symptoms such as pain, insomnia, and fatigue, as well as psychological symptoms like anxiety and depression.
- Provide evidence-based advice on lifestyle modifications, including exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management.
- Recommend integrative approaches such as acupuncture, massage, and meditation for symptom management.
- Discuss herbs and dietary supplements with patients, including their safety, efficacy, side effects, and herbal-drug interactions.
- Communicate with other physicians involved in patient care to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Participate in collaborative research to strengthen the evidence base for integrative medicine.
- Contribute to teaching missions, including supervising Integrative Medicine fellows, medical residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers.
- Participate in educational, quality assurance, and community outreach activities.
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent with excellent clinical, communication, and team skills.
- Board eligible or board certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or Med/Peds.
- New York and/or New Jersey State license eligible.
- Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting.
- Research, education, or clinical practice experience related to integrative medicine.
