The Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Academic Clinician at the Instructor level or higher to join the Integrative Medicine Service. The successful candidate will practice integrative medicine consultation within the setting of a major cancer center, with a special emphasis on patient-centered and evidence-based lifestyle modification, mind-body medicine, and herbal and supplement consultation.
The Integrative Medicine Service is dedicated to empowering people with cancer to become active participants throughout the cancer care journey. The service has a strong focus on clinical innovation and practice-changing research, and has led numerous first-in-class and large clinical trials to build the evidence base for integrative medicine therapies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical, communication, and team skills, and will be board eligible or certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or Med/Peds. Prior experience in integrative medicine/oncology is preferred but not required.
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching missions, including supervising Integrative Medicine fellows, medical residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers. They will also participate in collaborative research, educational, quality assurance, and community outreach activities, and serve on institutional and service committees.
