OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU:

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to address departmental needs effectively.
  • Facilitate recruitment initiatives by coordinating with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and compliance issues.
  • Provide daily performance management support to leadership, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
  • Enhance workplace relationships, morale, and retention through proactive engagement.
  • Administer exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends.
  • Assist in managing unemployment claims and related processes.
  • Lead training programs, including New Hire Orientation and management development.
  • Offer guidance on HR policies in alignment with local and federal regulations.

  • Analyze HR data to inform strategic decisions regarding turnover and employee engagement.

  • Maintain confidentiality in all HR matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in your area of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of HR or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • PHR certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in a labor environment with union contracts is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with iCiMS and Ultipro is beneficial.
  • Ability to engage with various organizational levels to cultivate a positive culture.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations relevant to HR practices.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Proficient in reading and interpreting documents in English, including safety and operational guidelines. Basic mathematical skills are required for various calculations and financial assessments.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role requires the ability to stand, use hands, and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects of varying weights.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employees may encounter moderate to loud noise levels and exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke.
