We are in search of a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of our preschool facilities. This part-time position entails a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Constructing toys and shelving units
- Resolving minor plumbing challenges
- Performing painting and drywall repairs
- Replacing light bulbs
- Conducting bi-weekly lawn maintenance and playground cleaning
The ideal candidate will possess experience in environments such as educational institutions or healthcare facilities and demonstrate proficiency as a versatile handyman. Responsibilities may also extend to assisting with minor renovation projects and ensuring compliance with maintenance standards.
CompensationPay Rate: $25 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Experience in facilities maintenance
- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in the presence of children and staff
- Must pass a criminal background check
