Imua Preschool Teacher Substitute

Imua Family Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Substitute Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to young children aged 2 years 8 months through to kindergarten-eligible age. You will work closely with our team to implement activities that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

• Implement and manage preschool programs, ensuring compliance with agency, local, state, and national standards.
• Collaborate with direct service and administrative staff to ensure seamless program delivery.
• Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs, including curriculum planning and implementation.
• Provide exceptional care and support to children, including supervision, guidance, and monitoring of their progress.
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community members to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, in-service trainings, and other meetings as required.
• Supervise teaching assistants, parent volunteers, and volunteer college students.
• Represent the organization at community outreach activities and promote child development services.

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field from an accredited college/university.
• Clear Criminal Background and Child Protective Background checks.
• Early Childhood experience with the birth to age six population is preferred.
