Position Details
SHIFT:
8:30 AM - 5 PM / FULL-TIME / 40 hours per week

LOCATION:
Emory Johns Creek Hospital

This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in both the interventional suite and operating room. Responsibilities include:
- Effectively communicating patient needs and responses through both verbal and written channels.
- Ensuring thorough and accurate documentation regarding all aspects of patient care.
- Operating imaging and specialty equipment proficiently while staying informed about medical device applications.
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology to provide advanced technical care tailored to patient needs.
- Assisting in the execution of various diagnostic procedures in a timely and organized manner.
- Delivering quality care during procedures and preparing patients with proper sterile techniques.
- Implementing precautions to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
- Supporting patient and family education initiatives.
- Potentially assisting in research and related activities.
- Contributing to the training of radiology staff and students.
- Performing other related duties as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience, including at least one (1) year in Interventional Radiology.
- Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional (VI) Radiography is preferred.
- BLS certification is required.
