AAMCI - Management, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Lead to oversee operations at a 72-unit affordable housing community.
This role focuses on ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents, emphasizing customer service, effective safety protocols, and ongoing skill development.
Working hours are full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with additional on-call responsibilities compensated at a premium rate. Compensation can reach up to $24.00 per hour.
The position includes participation in an on-call emergency rotation, which may involve evenings, weekends, and holidays, with premium pay for each response.
AAMCI offers numerous training opportunities and support for obtaining advanced certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Manage HVAC systems
- Install and repair electrical wiring and components
- Assemble plumbing and machinery systems
- Utilize a variety of tools, including hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments
- Prepare units for new occupants
- Perform painting and finishing work
- Complete maintenance work orders
- Order necessary parts for repairs
- Document repair types and associated costs
Essential Qualifications:
- HVAC Certification required
- General handyman skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Physical ability to perform various tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid Driver's License
