Operational Risk Manager

MissionSquare Retirement, a leading provider of public sector employee retirement products and services, is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Supervisor to join our Corporate Affairs team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks that could impact our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement, working closely with business leaders to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Lead the development and implementation of testing plans and periodic validation and testing of internal controls associated with mitigation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational risks, ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements, making recommendations for continuous improvement of our risk management program.
- 3+ years of experience in risk management, including risk assessments, risk tracking and reporting, controls evaluation and validation, and fraud investigation.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to build effective business partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
