Position Overview:
As a Lead Application Architect, you will collaborate closely with Senior Product Owners to craft a clear product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with our technological objectives. You will take charge of the design process for applications, with the flexibility to work remotely as per company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine product vision and strategy in partnership with Senior Product Owners.
  • Oversee the application design process independently.
  • Adapt to remote work policies as necessary.

Qualifications:
We welcome candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in this role or a similar engineering capacity.

Essential Skills:
  • 1 year of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 2 years of experience in web services, including REST, and messaging and streaming middleware like RabbitMQ, Kinesis, and Kafka.
  • 3 years of experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Postgres, HBase, and Redis; continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform; UNIX/Linux scripting; and microservices.
  • 5 years of experience in Java and related enterprise frameworks, particularly Spring.

Compensation:
The salary for this position typically ranges between $148,000.00 and $204,000.00, with additional incentives available as part of a competitive total compensation package. Factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may influence the pay for this role.
