FPGA Application Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Lead to join one of our trading teams in our Chicago office.

This person will participate in the full development lifecycle, including system and block level testing, of low latency high throughput FPGA design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software and hardware interaction, as well as experience with FPGA design flow including synthesis, place & route, static timing analysis.

Responsibilities will include architecting and implementing new FPGA applications from the ground up, facilitating software integration efforts, and proposing creative solutions to overcome FPGA/hardware limitations.

Candidate Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of experience within the field, and strong skills in RTL logic design (Verilog) and verification.

Experience with the design of system-on-chip (SOC) architectures, memory & processor subsystems, networking, and peripheral interconnect is required.

Knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and on-chip networking applications is also a plus.
