**Job Summary**
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinicians with patient care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Interview patients, record medical history, and confirm the purpose of visit
- Assist clinicians with patient care, including taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature
- Prepare patients for visits by setting up exam rooms and ensuring equipment needs are met
- Perform various clinical tasks, including electrocardiography (EKG), ear irrigations, throat cultures, urinalysis, flu testing, glucose testing, and international normalized ratio (INR) testing
- Ensure that results of all tests and procedures performed are available in medical records
- Assist clinicians with treatments and dressings
- Translate for providers as needed (if certified)
**Requirements**
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required, with fluency in both spoken and written English
- Certified in CPR
- Graduate of a medical assistant program
