We are currently seeking a Culinary Preparation Specialist to join our team in the Pflugerville, TX location. This role is essential in fulfilling our commitments to our clients by crafting nutritious and high-quality meals. Our culinary staff undertakes various responsibilities related to meal preparation, ensuring organized workspaces and executing tasks efficiently within a collaborative team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing, sanitizing, and arranging work areas
  • Preparing ingredients for service, including washing vegetables, chopping, and seasoning proteins
  • Cooking menu items according to established recipes while adhering to food safety protocols
  • Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food
  • Conducting food safety inspections and maintaining HACCP documentation

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Culinary Preparation Specialist
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, equipment, and procedures
  • Familiarity with industry best practices
  • Physically capable of standing and moving throughout the shift; able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds or more
