About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cocktail Server to join our team at Tao Group Hospitality. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience in our lounge and bar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of our guests, providing personalized service and attention to detail.
  • Presents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all beverage and food items, ensuring our guests are well-informed and satisfied.
  • Inform guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices, and solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Accurately enter all orders into the POS system, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Ensure the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Follow supervisor's instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team player, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or lounge setting.
  • Previous cocktail and/or floor server experience, with a strong understanding of beverage service and menu knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
