Role Overview:
The Line Cook is responsible for setting up and stocking kitchen stations with essential supplies. This role involves preparing food for service, which includes tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and crafting sauces. Collaboration with fellow kitchen staff is crucial, as we prioritize teamwork at Envision. Additional responsibilities may include dishwashing and general cleaning duties.

Objective:
To assist in the preparation of menu items, contributing to our mission of delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility
  • Prepare ingredients for menu items
  • Follow recipes to prepare menu items, accommodating guest modifications as needed
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations by completing all necessary checklists promptly
  • Take initiative to exceed expectations of guests and team members
  • Observe sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness
  • Assist with stocking and organizing items in concessions and restrooms
  • Exhibit flexibility in performing tasks beyond assigned duties
  • Complete training and attend required classes
  • Dispose of trash as necessary
  • Fulfill all cleaning tasks and other duties as requested by management

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
