Position Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a qualified individual to engage in on-site project scheduling for our esteemed client. The Senior Scheduler will be responsible for orchestrating project timelines for Nuclear or Engineering initiatives, ensuring seamless integration between scheduling tools such as Passport and Primavera. This role is pivotal in assisting project managers with the formulation of comprehensive plans, addressing scheduling conflicts, and crafting long-term schedules.
Compensation: $79.31 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules (including dates, times, and sequences) for Nuclear or Engineering projects.
- Ensure effective schedule management between Passport and Primavera scheduling systems.
- Support project managers in creating schedules for various project types, including online and outage projects.
- Formulate detailed plans and schedules while resolving any conflicts to maintain adherence.
- Generate long-term schedules for projects of varying scales.
- Provide accurate and timely schedules for daily operations and outage periods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline related to Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology, accompanied by 8 years of relevant nuclear power generation experience.
- Alternatively, an Associate's degree in a similar field with 10 years of experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 12 years of applicable experience.
- Possession of an SRO License or Certification.
- Extensive knowledge of work management and outage processes.
- Proficient in the Passport program and its integration with Primavera scheduling software.
- Experience with Primavera scheduling techniques and software, including Primavera 106 Training Certification or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with report development tools (e.g., Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
- Understanding of outage risk management and online risk management software.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage integrated schedules.
- Capability to lead schedule review meetings and facilitate communication between work groups.
- Experience in conducting post-work evaluations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to enhance team performance.
