NICU Staff Nurse, Night Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Resource RN for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. As a Resource RN, you will play a critical role in coordinating patient care, overseeing nursing operations, and teaching junior staff.

Responsibilities- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis
- Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three (3) years from the initial date of hire; Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Minimum two (2) years of Critical Care or ED experience or three (3) years of Med/Surg experience preferred
