We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dementia Care Specialist to join our team at Trusted Touch Homecare LLC. As a leading provider of homecare services, we are committed to delivering high-quality care to our clients in North West Washington DC.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to provide support and care to our older adult clients who require dementia care. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in dementia care, with a strong focus on maintaining the independence and dignity of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to clients with dementia
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Encourage social interaction and engagement to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
  • Extensive experience in dementia care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
