Job Summary:
The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the Project Manager by overseeing the direction, coordination, and execution of specific projects. This position ensures alignment with the company's strategic objectives and commitments.

Essential Functions:

  • Interpret project plans and specifications accurately to ensure proper execution of work.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of multiple projects alongside the Project Manager.
  • Support contract negotiations and manage changes to agreements with various stakeholders.
  • Contribute to budget estimates and progress tracking through detailed reports.
  • Monitor project documentation, including daily logs, labor reports, and budget comparisons.
  • Perform material take-offs and assist with project layout and reference points.
  • Analyze project budgets and assist in quality control measures.
  • Develop and update work plans for various project activities.
  • Utilize appropriate tools to track project deliverables effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Report on project progress and present solutions to any challenges encountered.
  • Implement changes and interventions to achieve desired project outcomes.
  • Conduct project evaluations and analyze historical data for future estimations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations through inspections.
