Job Summary

The Federal Highway Administration is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician (Civil - Construction) to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will assist in the construction of roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection and testing of construction materials and equipment
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues and ensure project completion
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of construction activities and materials
  • Provide technical support to construction teams and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
