We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of the Office of Data, Analytics, and Institutional Research (DAIR) to conduct specialized data collection and analyses related to program participation and evaluation.

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for providing complex analytical support, including customized reports that disaggregate program results. They will also work closely with the Enterprise Data Architect to support requests for information and compile appropriate and accurate responses to these data requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in the social sciences, computer science, business or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated responsibility and professional experience in computer programming, data extraction, reporting and analysis with a minimum of two years of experience with working with descriptive statistics, large data sets, and quantitative research methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialized data collection and analyses related to program participation and evaluation
  • Provide complex analytical support, including customized reports that disaggregate program results
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Data Architect to support requests for information and compile appropriate and accurate responses to these data requests
  • Support the ongoing development of the DAIR data warehouse (dataUML) including testing, maintenance of DAIR reporting documents and source data, and documenting methodologies employed, and data sources utilized
  • Support the development of Tableau dashboards for internal and user-facing self-service data needs
