Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Risk and Resilience Analyst Expert to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. This is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise in IT risk and resilience, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and facilitating key functions of UVMHN's IT Risk and Resilience Program. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop organizational programs and capabilities that facilitate the successful and appropriate response, recovery, and restoration of services following a disruption event.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Operations Continuity Planning: Develop and implement continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate joint hospital and IT command center efforts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Business Impact Analysis: Conduct thorough business impact analyses to identify critical business functions and develop corresponding recovery plans.
- Supporting Business Continuity and Downtime Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain business continuity and downtime plans.
- IT Service Availability Planning: Plan and implement measures to ensure IT service availability during disruptions.
- Disaster Recovery Planning (IT focused): Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and system downtime.
- Cyber Recovery Planning: Develop and implement cyber recovery plans to respond to potential cyber threats.
- Data Restoration Planning: Plan and implement data restoration procedures to minimize data loss.
About the Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience. You should also have 7+ years of experience in Information Security or IT, with a focus on resilience, emergency management, or business continuity operations.
Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
