Role of the Pre-K Lead Teacher:
As a valued team member, you will:
Be responsible for planning, guiding, and engaging in age-appropriate activities that support the holistic development of children. Your role will involve preparing children for their transition to kindergarten by introducing them to structured learning environments from infancy through preschool age, utilizing our established curriculum. Additionally, you will assist with daily care routines including feeding, changing, and nap supervision. Maintaining open and effective communication with parents and fellow team members through our Classroom Management system is essential. Lead Teachers will also manage classroom dynamics and oversee the daily responsibilities of junior staff members. You will collaborate with the Assistant Director and Director in the management of classroom and facility operations as needed.

Qualifications:
- Pre-K Certification
- Demonstrated experience as a Preschool Teacher
- Must be at least 18 years old with a GED or High School Diploma
- Strong understanding of child development principles and educational practices
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards for educational settings
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
- Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts among children
- Friendly, dependable, and composed demeanor
- Certification in child CPR
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility
- Familiarity with childcare licensing regulations and state developmental benchmarks
- Capability to design lesson plans
- Strong communication skills with children, staff, and parents
- Proficient in classroom organization, behavior management, and multitasking
