The Laboratory Animal Technician II position at AbbVie is responsible for providing health surveillance, preventative disease programs, and daily husbandry and care for all laboratory animals.

This includes maintaining laboratory equipment, sanitization, and stocking supplies when appropriate, as well as performing basic in vivo techniques in multiple species, learning and effectively implementing new advanced in/ex vivo techniques, and troubleshooting instrumentation.

Able to lift 50 pounds, perform repetitive procedures, and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Strong physical dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, organizational and time management skills, and sensitivity to changes in environmental conditions encountered in task performance.

**Salary Range:** $55,000 - $75,000 per year
