Job Description

The Regional Director, Investment Management Group, is a key role in Dimensional's Global Client Group. This position leads business development and relationship management for both new and existing clients, with a focus on financial institutions and investment advisors. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of investments, capital markets, and asset allocation theory, as well as excellent communication and sales skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sales efforts and manage a territory composed primarily of financial institutions and investment advisors.
  • Develop new relationships and retain and deepen existing relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Consult with clients on building an efficient investment practice while providing a successful investment experience to their clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike.
  • Present Dimensional's investment capabilities, investment theory, and performance to financial institutions, investment conferences, and industry functions.
  • Formulate and execute tailored Dimensional initiatives and champion existing company initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the team to increase revenues, assets under management, and client relationships within the territory through the profitable growth of Dimensional's product suite.
Desirable Experience and Traits
  • Extensive experience in the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and network of financial advisors in the financial institution and investment advisor markets.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ability to present Dimensional's products and philosophy to small and large groups.
  • Results-oriented but highly collaborative.
  • Ability to work successfully in teams as well as operate on your own merit.
  • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required.
