About the Position
This is a per diem position at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, offering flexibility and autonomy for our nurses. The Registered Nurse will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients with breast cancer. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' needs, developing individualized plans of care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to clinical decision-making, and refer patients to other clinical resources as needed.

About the Team

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington, and BLS certification. Previous experience in oncology nursing, particularly in breast oncology, is highly desirable, but not required. You should also demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and time management abilities. A bachelor's degree in nursing or higher is preferred, as well as certification in oncology nursing or related field. You will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a team, think critically, and adapt quickly to changing situations. Experience working in a fast-paced clinical setting and knowledge of electronic medical records systems are also highly valued.
