We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Port St. Lucie. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and coordinating guest services.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Reservation Management: Process all incoming and outgoing reservation and cancellation requests in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Guest Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of guest services by other hotel departments and outside businesses, ensuring seamless and efficient service.
- Front Desk Operations: Check-in and check-out departing guests, manage guest accounts, and handle departmental accounting of monies and receipts.
- Revenue Maximization: Maximize room revenue and occupancy levels through suggestive selling and effective marketing of hotel services and amenities.
- Communication: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information sources, such as room racks, telephone information racks, and log books.
- Technical Skills: Operate PBX equipment, franchise terminals, and other technology systems to handle guest inquiries and requests.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous hotel front office experience preferred, but not required. Ability to learn and adapt to hotel systems and procedures.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in hotel software and systems.
