Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to our young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families, incorporating cultural and diversity principles into practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Respect patients' values, preferences, and knowledge of their healthcare situation, incorporating holistic data collection and evaluation processes.
Standards of Practice

The Registered Nurse will adhere to the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice, ensuring a competent level of nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the State of employment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with moderate stress and risk of injury from patient care.
Salary and Benefits

Salary commensurate with experience. BSN minimum: $41.20, BSN maximum: $86.42. Non-BSN minimum: $40.00, Non-BSN maximum: $83.90.
