Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement treatment plans to deliver precise radiation doses to tumor volumes, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop treatment plans, including contouring and outlining anatomical structures and target volumes.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate delivery of prescribed doses and maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical dosimetry and radiation oncology, applying this knowledge to improve treatment plans and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical radiation dosimetry, with a strong background in anatomy and computer skills.
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
