As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement treatment plans to deliver precise radiation doses to tumor volumes, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop treatment plans, including contouring and outlining anatomical structures and target volumes.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate delivery of prescribed doses and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical dosimetry and radiation oncology, applying this knowledge to improve treatment plans and patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical radiation dosimetry, with a strong background in anatomy and computer skills.
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
- A competitive salary range of $115,000 to $150,000 per year.
