Job Title: Clinical Medical Dosimetrist - Per Diem

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medical Dosimetrist to join our dynamic team in Rochester, New York. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

About the Role:
  • Design and implement treatment plans to deliver precise radiation doses to tumor volumes.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists to design treatment plans, including planned tumor doses and maximum acceptable doses to normal tissue.
  • Perform calculations for accurate dose delivery and obtain patient contours from radiation oncologists.
  • Assist in routine quality control, including patient Quality Assessment (QA) plans and weekly chart rounds.
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Medical Dosimetry or meets eligibility for Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.
  • Minimum of one year of progressively more responsible work or intern experience in medical radiation dosimetry in a clinical environment.
  • 5+ years' experience required.
  • Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
