Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of PLC programs utilizing Beckhoff Automation software.
  • Interpret and analyze various schematics, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain PLC systems integrated with HMIs, SCADA systems, and other industrial control devices.
  • Engage with customers and operators remotely to diagnose software challenges and deliver timely solutions.
  • Participate in on-site installations, commissioning processes, and customer training sessions.
  • Analyze patterns and usage to develop comprehensive solutions in partnership with other departments.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the field of industrial automation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one major PLC platform (e.g., Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal).
  • Experience with Beckhoff programming is preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming beyond ladder logic, including Structured Text and Function Blocks.
  • Familiarity with HMI development and industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP).
  • Experience with SQL, TwinCAT3, and Delphi is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and managing customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% - 50% of the time.
