At Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to lead our service department in Chillicothe, MO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing service operations to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and enforce service department processes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Create annual location service department goals and budget, aligning with organizational objectives
  • Execute service department marketing plan, working closely with corporate service manager and marketing manager
  • Coordinate customer clinics, field days, and promotional events
  • Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to employees, ensuring optimal skills utilization
  • Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing
  • Manage recruiting, staffing, and employee development activities for service staff
  • Assist with training and development of service personnel, completing performance reviews
  • Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a service department, with a proven track record of meeting performance metrics
  • Experience with off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
  • Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes
  • Basic computer skills, with experience using Service ADVISOR or other diagnostic repair tools
  • Leadership and teamwork experience, with effective communication and analytical skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license, with a CDL preferred
