About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Project Manager to join our team at Hertz. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of global project and program management, including planning, design, engineering, procurement, resource planning, cost, scheduling, and implementation activities.
  • Facilitate and coordinate various tasks for successfully analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing projects on time and within the defined project budget.
  • Establish a detailed project charter for each project, ensuring that all involved project team members understand and agree on the project's definition before the project begins.
  • Define, monitor, and manage project schedules and responsibilities.
  • Identify all contributing parties and their respective tasks.
  • Determine task relationships and realistic completion dates.
  • Create and manage a detailed project work plan for each project.
  • Manage project portfolios, including prioritizing projects, allocating resources, and reporting progress to goals.
  • Effectively communicate the project status to all team members.
  • Establish and enact escalation procedures for questionable project milestones.
  • Track the project milestones outlined in standard development and implementation methodologies.
  • Ensure requirements for approvals, controls, and documentation are satisfied.
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the project, identify problem areas before they impact the project, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Well-versed in formal Project Management Best Practices.
  • Direct projects affecting front-end and back e-commerce systems.
  • Partner with Marketing leaders to establish trusted advisory relationships, foster leadership consensus, and resolve organizational barriers.
  • Present and communicate analytical findings in multiple settings in concise and clear fashion.
Requirements
  • 4 years of Project Management/Team lead within Digital Marketing.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, CRM, and Jira highly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • PMI certificate or equivalent certifications; Agile preferred.
  • Formal Project Management technologies.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
  • Ability to influence.
  • Proficiency with Jira or Kanban boards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current tools and techniques of project management, demonstrated knowledge and use of key knowledge areas within the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Results-driven, ability to make decisions, and help solve problems.
  • Ability to drive process and organizational change.
  • Ability to motivate teams and keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to see the big picture and leverage critical thinking and decision-making skills.
