Matrix Providers is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Behavioral Health Optimization Program (BHOP) at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Summary:We are looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide full-time care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health psychology.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as alcohol and drug treatment evaluations.
- Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts as required.
- Maintain accurate and current notes in patient records and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment as needed.
- Participate in military-specific training and conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to address complex diagnostic and treatment issues.
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Active U.S. state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Minimum of 2 full years of recent experience working as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in an outpatient mental health clinic.
